Training outside is not only enjoyable, it is the way most training is traditionally done. Now that we are getting nicer weather here, some pointers for fair-weather players: In the Spring, a well drained site that is protected from the Wind. In the summer, a shaded site that is also dry. If, like me, you’ve been practicing indoors all winter you need to gradually increase the time spent training outdoors, to allow your body to adapt - like hardening off seedlings, before transplanting them. Choose a location that is well-defined and out of the way. You don’t want to have to compete for space with others. And there is no need to be on display - you are there to practice.
